Watch Winder Mechanism

WatchVaults.com watch winders use the most sophisticated winding mechanism available today. The quiet rotator drive system will keep your automatic kinetic watch wound safely and silently with the turn of a dial.

The operation dial (top) has three settings:

Setting "0" Rotator will remain off and motionless.
Setting "ON" Rotator will begin winding in 10 seconds.
Setting "12" Rotator will begin winding in 12 hours.

The mode dial (bottom) has three settings:
Setting "A" The rotator will wind clockwise for 150 revolutions (20 minutes) and then rest for 60 minutes. This rotation cycle is repeated 6 times (7 hours), and then the rotator rests for 17 hours before starting the same 24 hour cycle again.
Setting "B" Winding in this mode is the same as Mode A except the rotation direction is in the counter-clockwise direction.
Setting "C" The rotator will wind clockwise for 150 revolutions and then rotate counter-clockwise for another 150 revolutions. It will then rest for 30 minutes and repeat the same cycle.
Note: Except in very rare instances, all automatic watches will work in any of the above modes becuase most watches will wind regardless of the direction the rotator is moving. The reason for multiple modes of rotation is to provide winding capabilities for older heirloom watches and unique watches with specific requirements.
